Summer 2026 Fundraiser:
Support the writing of a Camogie Play!
Did you know that Portland has a local Gaelic Athletics Association Club called Columbia Red Branch! They’re getting ready to go to Boston for the USGAA Finals Aug 14-17th, and have games all over the U.S. in addition to some on fields right here in the city!
One of the playwriting residency applications this year was from playwright Cáit Moloney, who is a native of Oola, County Limerick, and was recently hired as the new Artistic Director for the GAFF theatre in Limerick, Ireland! She applied to write a play about a camogie team, to highlight the Irish sport
Columbia Red Branch members connected with Corrib at an Irish network meeting and expressed so much interest in this sport that is near and dear to them, that they are goaling to community fundraise the amount needed to sponsor a commission of Cáit’s play for Corrib to produce in a future season.
If CRB and folks in our Irish community express enough interest, and the $3,500 is raised in the next couple of months, we’ll green light the next steps!

Our community surpassed our $3k goal and raised $3,325 for our next season of work, directly supporting the shows in our 2026-2027 season!
