From the author of Doubt, John Patrick Shanley’s Tony-Award-nominated Outside Mullingar is a delightful, surprising, and achingly touching comedy set in rural Ireland.

Rosemary Muldoon and Anthony Reilly are middle-aged misfits whose families have harbored a land dispute for decades. With nothing much to do in their small, rural town, the two long for intimacy and fulfillment as they maintain their family farms.

The twist at the end of this cracklingly comic play adds an explosion of delight and endearment when Rosemary and Tony finally speak their truth.
